The short version

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept the consent banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are stored.

On this website

Our landing site is hosted on Firebase Hosting. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with Google Consent Mode v2 to track basic usage — things like page views and button clicks.

How consent works: When you first visit the site, a consent banner appears. Analytics cookies are blocked by default. If you click “Accept”, GA4 is allowed to set cookies and collect analytics data. If you click “Decline”, no analytics cookies are set and no tracking data is collected.

The site uses localStorage to remember your cookie preference (dillr-cookie-consent) and whether you’ve signed up for the waitlist. localStorage is stored only on your device and is not a cookie.

In the iOS app

The Dillr app uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used — things like which features are popular and where people get stuck. This data is aggregated and anonymous.

The app also uses local storage (UserDefaults on iOS) to remember a few things on your device:

This local data never leaves your device. It’s not sent to our servers or shared with anyone.
