How It Works

Dillr follows you through the full arc of cooking — from the first idea to the notes you’ll thank yourself for next time.

01
The Spark

Start with what you have.

Tell Dillr what you’re in the mood for, what’s in the fridge, or who’s coming over. It pulls recipe ideas based on your tastes, your family’s dietary needs, and what you’ve loved before. You can also import any recipe from a website or another app.

“Let’s use those leeks I have in the fridge.”

02
The Tweak

Adapt through conversation.

Modify the recipe by talking to Dillr. Swap an ingredient, make it dairy-free, scale it for more guests, or simplify the steps for a weeknight. Save as the new version or do a one-off for today.

“Can we make it dairy-free? My stomach isn’t in a heavy cream mood today.”

03
The Execution

Someone to watch the pan.

While you cook, Dillr is there. Ask about technique, timing, substitutions, or quick pivots when things don’t go as expected.

“How do I know when the scallops are ready to flip?”

04
The Record

Notes for your future self.

After cooking, debrief the meal with Dillr. Save the swap that worked, note what you’d change, and let the recipe evolve. Next time you cook, your starting point is already better.

“The extra lemon zest was the key. Keep it.”

05
The Library

It lives on.

Every recipe you cook joins your personal library. Dillr learns what your household likes and surfaces the right recipe when it fits — a quick weeknight pasta, a crowd-pleaser for Saturday, or that thing you haven’t made in months but should.

“Suggested for tonight: Tuesday’s Pasta v3.”

Every recipe gets better. Every cook teaches Dillr something new about how you like to eat.
