Getting started
Dillr is a cooking assistant that learns how you cook. It remembers your pantry, your family’s dietary needs, and what you’ve made before — so every suggestion fits your actual kitchen.
Download the app
Dillr is available on the App Store for iPhone. A web app is also available at app.dillr.ai.
Create your account
When you first open the app:
- Tap Get started
- Choose your language
- Dillr starts a short conversation to get to know you — your household, dietary needs, what kind of cooking you enjoy. Just chat naturally, there’s no form to fill out.
- When the conversation wraps up, tap Enter kitchen and sign in with your email or Apple ID
That’s it — your kitchen is ready.
Your first recipe
The fastest way to get started is to import a recipe you already love:
- Paste a URL from any recipe site
- Scan a cookbook page with your phone’s camera
- Just describe it — “my go-to weeknight pasta with garlic, chili, and parmesan”
Dillr turns it into a clean, structured recipe in your library. See Importing recipes for more detail.
What to try next
Once you have a recipe or two saved, here are some things to explore:
- Ask for dinner ideas — Dillr checks your pantry and suggests meals you can actually make
- Plan a week of meals — get a menu and shopping list in one go
- Cook with Dillr — open a recipe and start a cooking session for step-by-step help
- Invite your partner — create a shared kitchen so recipes, plans, and shopping lists sync between you. See Shared kitchens.
Pricing
Dillr is free to download. New users get a free trial of Dillr+ with full access — no payment needed to start.
After the trial, a Dillr+ subscription keeps the AI features. If you don’t subscribe, your saved recipes and meal plans stay viewable on the free read-only tier.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your iPhone’s Settings > Subscriptions.
